Ottawa's cultural attractions: This billboard for the Museum of Civilization makes me shudder every time I see it. The "girl in a frock" gimmick is kind of 1970s. And what is up with that expression on her face?? Scary.
A quick hello and thank you to Graham and the people at the Institution comedy club for a fun show on Saturday. ('Supersize my fries' was the only line of mine used) Speaking of cultural attractions, this week I learned that there is a British equivalent to the Canadian 'hoser' called Chavs. Find that in your Lonely Planet guide. ha! Lastly, despite the renovations at the Ottawa main library (very nice - now with a self book checkout), the magazine section still smells of pee. : ( Comments
