Gosses Bluff, Northern Territory: When I first saw this landscape (which extends a full 360 degrees), all I could think of was stupid Windows XP. The rippling here at Gosses Bluff was caused by the impact of a meteor 142 million years ago. Our guide said it was more powerful than Hiroshima. It was oddly green in the middle of the desert.
-------- In Ottawa news... I went to see Super Size Me last night. There were more than a handful of people who were munching on large bags of popcorn and oversized pops.
