Bondi Beach, Sydney: I saw a postcard with the arches of the Bondi Pavillion and decided that I should do a similar shot. So, here is one last look at Bondi before the weekend.
----- You live in Toronto. You love the Drake Hotel. Or you've declared it 'over' and reluctantly still go because, well, the world doesn't just revolve around the GTA anymore, it seems to now revolve around the Drake. It's not just a hangout, it's a vortex. You are trapped like a bunny wearing Preloved skirt by a Quebecois cabane-à-sucre. Frank Magazine did a nice spoof on a day in the life of Drake. Comments
heard much about the drake...something tells me its worth checking out before it is officially 'passé'... lana, you've been right? worth it for dinner? melanie / 06.18.04I've only had coffee and a tart at Drake. Both were very good. The patio is sunny and mixes hipster sleek wood benches with lawn chairs that look like 1975. Be prepared to pay $7 for a beer, but coffee is a meager $2! Lana / 06.18.04$7 for beer! ah. i'm undisturbable (?) today: i just heard from a friend that her parents paid 26 euros for two glasses of white wine in a restaurant in norway. good heavens. lynn / 06.18.04Post a comment
