Red Bull in Canada!: Looky what I found today. Apparently they started selling real Red Bull in Canada this month - this totally made my Friday. Sipping while watching a DVD didn't quite compare to previous quoifs under rainy canopy near Trafalgar Square or waiting for the bus near Hyde Park in Sydney. Location location location.

lana! we've had that since like, i don't remember when!! what is this wonderful stuff? whats in it? whats it taste like? Graham / 08.28.04It's fun. In Spain we've got this drink since years (but I definitely don't like it) jorge / 08.28.04I remember that virgin redbull experience well. In fact in celebration I think I shall seek out a can right now to counter my flagging energy levels. Hope the weekend is going well, to set you off on a perfect start may I advise you to mix some of this precious elixir with either tequilla or vodka tonight. Nick / 08.28.04I HATE red bull soooo much. yuk! Euan / 08.28.04Sorry to say that we have even had Red Bull in PEI for a while. Though no one has figured out that serving it with vodka is the best way to consume it. Silly backward Island bartenders. Amy / 08.28.04I feel so out of the loop on this issue. Lana / 08.28.04Funny thing is the Real Red Bull has been sold here for 5 years. The Thai edition is the real red bull they actuallt own 51% of the can. It is also stronger. Eddy eddy / 09.04.04Sorry eddy!! The stuff i n the bottle is not the real red bull. If you had ever been to the "Red Bull" site you would realize that. It is actually an Austrian Drink and was invented there, a point which they take very seriously. What the bottle doesn't have is the caffine which is what made red bull illegal here for so long. Not the amount of caffine but the fact that it was added as a drug and not naturally occuring. Now the law has changed and the real stuff in the cans can finally be sold here. Just so you know the real deal Where in Ottawa did you buy it?! I can't find it anywhere?? i just don't know where to look exactly. I live in Ottawa too. :) Please email me to let me know thanks! danee_sxe@hotmail.com jane / 09.18.04I buy Red Bull from a convenient store in downtown (at the corner of Summerset and Percy). The store is right next to a laundry store and right across Chuck Brown golf store. Red bull lover / 09.20.04It's true... I'm over on the west coast and noticed that they were selling it up at Whistler... I was pretty surprised to see it in can form (Taurine included). I was also at the cold beer and wine store tonight and they had it there too, so I started talking to the gal about it and she said they had just gotten it in. Drew / 09.22.04finally i have an excuse to get up in the morning...thats if i can go to sleep at night, I love the bull. I used to bring flats back from the US. Hooked / 09.23.04I just came back from 7-11 on Rideau st. and they have none! has anybody else found some in Ottawa? Eric J. / 09.25.04I just came back from 7-11 on Rideau st. and they have none! has anybody else found some in Ottawa? Eric J. / 09.25.04SUCCESS!!! I got discount as well. Paul / 09.30.04What are people paying for this? im in toronto and i bought a case friday for 59.99 Josh / 10.02.04i've been trying to track down redbull for the last few years, wondering why is is not legal in canada. i even went to alaska on a faily trip and brought back several cases. but i am still clueless as to what's wrong with it. i always thought it had to do with it's color, and canada's policy on clear colored drinks and caffine, ie mountain dew's lack of caffine. now that redbull is here, will other energy drinks such as amped or rockstar make the border as well? andrew / 10.04.04I've closed the comments on this topic. In summary: Yes, Red Bull is sold in Canada. Where? Go to your local corner store. Lana / 10.06.04Post a comment
