Toxic Gallery Opening: Some photos from last night's opening of the Toxic Gallery, Ottawa's new contemporary photography gallery. I'm sure there haven't been that many people in South Keys since the last swarming in the WalMart parking lot. Nonetheless, there was a serious crowd of people who braved the distance into Ottawa's suburban Siberia. In fact, once you were inside the gallery, you could pretend you were in Soho and not SoKeys.
 Former Ottawa blogger, Adam Krawesky was featured at the show, including the photo seen here.  Drinks flowed freely. Emphasis on freely.  We quickly realised that the room was divided into potential art buyers and hipsters.  A piece by Pedro Isztin.  Another new blogger meet-up with Patrick of Concept4. What a GOOooood night. Really glad we got to meet up. Hah, like these pics! I definitely am kickin meself not haven taken out the old CoolPix. Anyway, you can always count on a blogger buddy to pack the essentials. Thanks again Lana and the rest of the blog posse for the good company last night. Hey Lana, let's have a bloger get together sometime. But I guess I better start blogging again if i'm going to get invited! Very interesting to finally be immersed in the medium that apparently had a say in the presidential election. Seriously though, cool site, err I mean blogg. Extensive photo archive is appreciated.
