Cape Tribulation: Could Queensland get any greener? We were supposed to drive to Cooktown, but the recent heavy rains had made the roads impassable. Cape Trib. didn't disappoint.
Everyone in this city is in winter denial. Yesterday the temperature dropped to -10 C so I saddled up in full winter coat, mittens and hat. I looked like a stray polar bear, while they sported spring jackets and fashion scarves. If anyone asked, I would have feigned the worst Australian accent I could muster and say, "Sure is cold 'ere, mate." Luckily, that did not happen. Also, I didn't like the new Bridget Jones movie as well as the last. Comments
Oh no!! I thought the new movie was supposed to be at least just as good. Saw BJ tonight, while there were some very funny moments, I was sorely disappointed. It did not live up to the original. Amy / 11.15.04Post a comment
