Want to go to a karaoke show? *blink* Ok: I don't recall getting an email from the Artengine about the OAG's karaoke night. Luckily, it's nice to know people (Andrea) who are in the know about important karaoke events.
The performance of the evening had to go to Jason St-Laurent, who performed Cyndi Lauper's "I drove all night" in six inch turquoise heels. Moreover, the ability to wear turquoise heels with an acid wash dress *and* pull off Molly Ringwald dance moves was worth the price of admission. Ok, let me just say it. I'm jealous of anyone who can wear high heels better than I do... which is everyone. ![]() Carleton alumni, James Missen and his pal Phil Rose rocked out to Poison's "Every Rose has its Thorn". Heavy metal ballads.. *eep* ![]() Team Tekki Techy and The Jezebels did rap aerobics. Putting the 'hop' in hip hop. Note to self: Get a proper flash, wipe snow streaks off camera lens, do not carry a copy of Chatelaine in your bag (hopefully unseen) and wear all black. Comments
jeepers that looks like a fun night...wish I'd known. I worked on a video project with Phil a few years ago. Graham / 12.10.04I missed it :( Didn't get there until after eleven . . . You should check out Speed Freak tonight, it's a video program about speed (fast trains, fast edits, etc.), obviously. It's at SAW Gallery around 8pm. I can send you details if need be . . . As for Chatelaine, everyone knows it's all about the recipies! ao / 12.10.04Hey Andrew, Post a comment
