Quick book review: I just finished Natasha and other Stories by David Bezmozgis. It has gotten a lot of positive press this year, so I thought it would be a wise choice. If you're looking for progressive Canadian pseudo-fiction, then this isn't the book for you. But, if you're looking for some tightly written Canadian tragi-comedy from a McGill grad (yay), then start ordering your copies. I expect to see more short stories-turned-novel in the future from other young Canadians. It will be the new sliced bread in 2005. December 30, 2004 ||
