Review: I feel shame for discounting Ron Sexsmith without listening to his music. He is not at all an old Canadian folk fart. In fact, his "Dandelion Wine" is in heavy rotation on my iPod.
Please also note: Sarah Slean is not at all related to Natalie McMaster and the celtic ilk. Finally, Brick Lane by Monica Ali is an excellent book to whittle away hours when travelling. In fact, you could sleep through a good 50 pages and really not miss much. More a social commentary than a plot-based novel. Nonetheless, enjoyable. It made me want to eat a lot of curry.
