Miso Soup: After work, I made the trek to the Superstore. Sometimes it's worth it to co-mingle amongst the $300 shopping cart full of groceries crowd. So, I picked up lots of fresh fruit and veggies to make miso soup. One word: delicious.
Here's the recipe: 4 cups of water 1 package of dashi (or 2 tsp) 3 Tbsp. red miso paste tofu/chicken/pork (I used a chicken breast, it was on sale) 3 heads of bok choy 2 slices of ginger 3-4 spring onions Boil the water and dashi. Add meat (or substitute) and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the miso paste. Stir. Toss in veggies. Let simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve. Easy. Proof:
