"Hot" Holga Mod: I am finally getting around to getting my Holga in working order. The first step was to cut the excess plastic off the 6x6 insert. I had managed to scrape through two sides with my x-acto knife, but the remaining two sides with the reinforced edges were tricky. So, I called in for back-up.

By heating up the blade of the x-acto knife, we sliced through the remaining two sides quite easily. (Well, easier than just scraping at plastic) Now, all that remains is to file the rough edges and then finish up with Rannie's velcro mod.

I thought the light leaks were part of the Holga charm? Love to see some of the photos you take w/ that thing!

I've taken photos since 1944 and never seen a Holga. That a Russian item?

And your chopping its viewer for more view?

Amazing! Gutsy do-it-yourselfer.
