Eating outdoors and aussie damper: It's officially spring - we've eaten on a sunny patio, walked with ice cream along Bank Street and barbecued without freezing. Here's the attempt at Aussie beer damper, done in a cast iron skillet on the barbie. Result... delicious! Good old Fossies.
Here's the recipe (it made 2 um.. dampers?): 4 cups flour 2 tsp of baking powder a pinch of salt 50 grams of butter (I think we used olive oil instead... 1 tbsp-ish) 1 stubby of beer Also: At brunch on Saturday, one guest brought his Amy Winehouse CD... it was *really* good.
