Shopping for Hush Puppies
Shopping for Hush Puppies: On Sunday afternoon we walked to the Glebe for some food and shoe shopping. Upon arrival at the shoe shop, we were greeted by this puppy. He had wandered into the shop just moments before on his own having escaped his nearby Glebe home. After about 15 minutes, a customer entered who knew the owners and their address (he had no tags! bad!) and offered to walk him home. He seemed to be having a great time letting all the customers dote on him. In the end he didn't buy any shoes and left barefoot.

Every time you take a photo of a dog from the Glebe it's a "name-brand" dog. I wonder if there are any mutts in that part of town. (On that note, someone had their Golden Retriever inside the Third Avenue Spa today... how perfectly Glebe-ish.)

If I lived in the Glebe and owned a golden retriever, I would name it "Starbucks"... just because.

This dog is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. They are a wonderful friendly dog and they love the water.
