Around Centretown with the Holga: I dropped off a couple more rolls of film from the Holga at the photo store tonight... and just in time for the arrival of the new film scanner. Phew. No more pricey printing costs.

This is an awesome shot. I love the vintage look. robyn / 04.27.05lucky you: a film scanner! i have to rein my holga use these unemployed days. what an amazing shot this is! lynn / 04.28.05Robyn, this was on your street! I took it after one of the kitten visitations... Lana / 04.28.05The vanity licence plate just adds to the charm! Can't you just picture Mabel with her pink bouffant and bejeweled sunglasses? Parasol / 04.28.05It does have that "heritage" feel to it.. nay, "old timey". At least the plate isn't as dorky as the Mustang parked on McLaren who's plate reads "Sally 69". Try harder! Lana / 04.28.05When do we get to see our first D20 shots? Anatole / 04.28.05Hopefully tonight - I still haven't finished reading the manual. I fell asleep reading about focusing points... there's 9! That's all I know. Lana / 04.28.05And they're in a funky diamond shape! I read up on the D20 ... which just made me more jealous. :) Anatole / 04.28.05I think I'm parked beside your "green machine" today. Lucky us... getting to bike home in the pouring rain! I demand to know why Environment Canada's site only said "chance" of showers!!! Refund! Lana / 04.28.05Wow, just finished reading this Sunday's Citizen ... yup, it's been a busy week ... found this site, really great stuff. Dennis / 04.28.05Thanks for the link. And it seems i do everything I can to make blogging unsimple, unfortunately. Kevin / 04.28.05About your blog, I just love seeing all the pictures from around Ottawa. They almost make me feel like I'm there. I'm actually 1000 miles away, in St. Paul, Minnesota. I grew up in Ottawa and have lived away since 1998. A big part of me wishes I were still there! Colin / 04.28.05Colin-- GREAT shot. What kind of film scanner did you for scanning your 120 film? Tanja > DoubleCrossed / 04.29.05Of course I will try to use this somewhere in a film of mine because it's great and will ask permission in due time, props. Alex / 04.29.05Post a comment
