All around town on a bike: I had to cycle (re-cycle?) home before heading to the Art School as I had forgotten the film that I wanted to process. I should have known that things weren't going to go smoothly.
How long does it take one person to load ONE roll of medium format film onto a film spooler? Answer: too long. I was processing a roll of film from my Holga and I must have spent a good 30-45 minutes trying to uncoil the film to get onto the spooler. The film may have been dropped. In.the.dark. One end may also have been delicately wedged between my knees to keep it from rolling back up into a fruit-roll-up. I was sure that I had ruined the film by this point. But, when all was processed, I ended up with a couple of nice mountain shots. (See below) The question is... do I have the patience to process the second roll? ![]() In food news: We had an awesome meal at Shanghai last night. Loooove Shanghai. May 11, 2005 ||
