Cats of Centretown: Robyn and I were joking around with book ideas over email... the topic "Cats of Centretown" came up, but was quickly filed. Who are we kidding, our target audience was ourselves. .
In music news: Neil passed the musical baton on to me today in the form of a musical meme. Brilliant! Total volume of music files on my computer: 3.02 Gb. (Paltry! I know. ) The last CD I bought was: Rufus Wainwright "Want Two". Song playing right now: 'Walter Reed' by Michael Penn Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me: 1. 'Brighter than Sunshine' by Aqualung 2. 'The Engine Driver' by the Decemberists 3. 'The Coast is Always Changing' by Maximo Park 4. 'Salt Islands' by Cub Country 5. 'Andy, You're a Star' by The Killers I'm going to pass the musical torch on to: 1. Mintyfresh / 2. Lunerose / 3. Periwinkle Parasol I'm pretty confident that these girls will pull through with some good tunes. (Time to dig into that quarentine pile on your iPod, Robyn). Ottawa Photos: Ottawa Start, the all-Ottawa all-the-time news and events goings-on portal, is now featuring a photo of the day. You can send them a note if you'd like to be included in the photo rotation. Ottawa's *new* cycling plan Apparently there is consultation going on regarding the city's "cycling plan". I had *no idea*. It's uber difficult to even read the City's proposed new routes.. and I don't seem to see any answers to the 'no southbound bike lane from Wellington near the Archives' problem. Bah. I'm cynical. There won't be any new routes.. only pothole expansion. (PS: I haven't been walking my bike around the construction on the Alexandria bridge like the sign says to... ) May 16, 2005 ||
