Rainy days on the double decker: To pass the rainy morning, we picked up some tea at Fortnum and Mason and then did a quick stop at the Victoria and Albert museum (I only did the 'fashion' and 'photography' rooms. Rooms remaining to view: 144. Sigh.)
Continuing our day of being tourists, we then took a double decker up to Baker Street (to see one of the original tube stations... meh), had a yummy English pub lunch and then worked off the lunch by hoofing it towards St. John's Wood, home of Abbey Road and one very famous zebra crossing. Photos were taken, traffic was stopped, locals were annoyed and more double deckers were caught. I think my work here is done. Tomorrow, Zurich en route to Germany. *fingers crossed* May 24, 2005 ||
