Weekend Recap: It was a *real* summer weekend - 30 degree temperatures and sun sun sun all weekend. The first stop on Friday night was World Beats and Eats at the Mercury Lounge. While there were more "beats" than "eats".. we couldn't really complain about the delicious french toast that chefs from the Social served. Breakfast for dinner? My new best friend.
 Then some biking along the Ottawa river on Saturday took us past the water filtration plant which was open to the public as part of Doors Open Ottawa. The fellow we spoke to was *so* friendly, he radio-ed for a volunteer to take us for a ride in the elevator. 
To end the weekend, there was Art in the Park. Actually, it was my first time going to this event and it made me feel inspired, but "arted out". There were so.many.booths.  We noticed that Karina had left her mark at the art show... June 05, 2005 ||
