Spare seats and tail wind
It feels like I was just in crappy Los Angeles airport about 2 minutes ago. Where did my vacation go?? Arrrgh. Our flight from Sydney was a bit bumpy, but shorter than expected due to a tail wind and a comfortable extra seat beside me to stretch out on. Our entry into the US was sort of long and I worried my feet smelled when I had to take my shoes off to pass through security. I'm sure they are used to that. 11 hours to go until the flight to Chicago. There's only one answer to this problem... and that is trash magazines. The food options are limited to a Starbucks, McDonalds and a random mexican style eatery. Sigh. Is Starbucks a meal? I miss the juice bars of Sydney - seriously, they are like the Australian equivalent to New Zealand's sheep. There is no eucalyptus in LA. Comments
Bon retour madame! Veux-tu luncher ensemble vendredi? Pas du kangouroo en tout cas... Hope the rest of your trip home went well! And you miss the juice bars of Sydney - what about World Heritage Willy, don't you miss him, too? hehe :) alysha / 05.26.04What a simultaneously funny, creative, observant, and depressing line to end with. All that in five words and an abbreviation. Ryan / 05.27.04Post a comment
